Last month Nike unveiled the #COUNTONKOBEiD contest: the winner’s design of the Nike Kobe 8 System iD shoe would be worn by Kobe Bryant in an upcoming Lakers home game.
On Monday, Kobe announced the winning design on his twitter account, crowning a submission from user @7thChamberpt2. The shoes, which can be seen above, were required to have a home inspired colorway. Not only does the winner get to see Kobe rock his designed shoes, but he will get his own pair of Kobe 8 System iDs ($180 retail value).
Now Bryant can point a finger at his shoes and the designer if the game doesn’t go his way.
