John Paxson Confirms Contact With Ray Allen’s Agent, Interest In Signing Him

As we reported yesterday, the Chicago Bulls are one of the many teams that are still interested in signing Ray Allen.

John Paxson, the Bulls’ VP of Basketball Operations, told ESPN Chicago’s Waddle and Silvy during a radio interview that the team would like to sign the 39-year-old.

“Safe to say we’ve been in contact with his agent. If Ray Allen wants to play this year, we’d like to be on the list.”

Allen would certainly give the Bulls a much needed three-point shooter. However, would Allen spurn his buddy LeBron James for Chicago? Paxson also added that he’s not sure when Allen will decide.
