Bulls GM Gar Forman announced to media Friday that Derrick Rose, who suffered another meniscus tear in his right knee, is expected back within 4-to-6 weeks.

Rose, who will start an ‘aggresive’ rehab process on Saturday, would be able to suit up again this season with Chicago. In theory, the timing of Rose’s injury couldn’t have come at a better time as the former MVP winner will be able to get back into rhythm with his teammates right before the start of the NBA playoffs.
Forman on Rose: Derrick is highly disciplined, great character. In talking to him this week, I think he’s in a good place, ready to attack it.”
