Chicago Bulls Turned Down Gerald Green For Taj Gibson Deal

While the Chicago Bulls are still looking to improve their roster on the NBA Trade Deadline, it appears there’s no way they’re willing to part with forward Taj Gibson. According to K.C. Johnson, the team declined to move Gibson for the Suns’ Gerald Green, but Kevin Martin may still be an option.

Two league sources said the Suns asked for Taj Gibson when the Bulls did due diligence on Gerald Green in advance of Thursday’s trade deadline. That was a non-starter for the Bulls, who also will monitor the buyout market. Kevin Martin would be an intriguing possibility if the Timberwolves go that route.
