Fox Sports overhead camera cable snaps, delays Coca-Cola 600 Race

On the 126th lap of the Coca-Cola 600, the race had to be stopped because a cable from Fox Sports’ overhead camera had snapped and caused damage to Kyle Busch’s care.  The cable also apparently got caught underneath Marcos Ambrose’ car on the 124th lap.

According to ESPN:

No drivers were injured.

The cars were initially brought along pit row as workers cleared the cable from the track. NASCAR then brought teams into the pits and gave them 15 minutes to work on their cars.

Unfortunately 10 fans were injured and at the time of damage to Busch’s car, he was leading the race.
