Nolan Ryan Throws Out First Pitch, Misses the Plate By a Mile

Nolan Ryan threw out the first pitch in Houston as the Astros played the Yankees in their home opener. The Hall of Fame pitcher and current Astros executive struck out an MLB-record 5,714 batters and has the most no-hitters of all-time (7), but on Tuesday he couldn’t hit the plate. Craig Biggio, who recently missed being voted into the Hall of Fame by 2 ridiculous votes, could not catch the ball, as it sailed about 4 feet to the left of him.

This is pretty bad and will go down as one of the more embarassing first pitches of all-time. Here are some other terrible ones throughout the last couple of years:
