Military Father Surprises Daughter at Tampa Bay Rays Game

On Thursday night, nine-year-old Alayna Adams threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Tampa Bay Rays-Boston Red Sox game.  She figured that the catcher behind the plate was a Rays catcher, but when the catcher took of the mask, her father Army Lieutenant Colonel William T. Adams was behind the mask.  Adams had been deployed in Afghanistan for one-year and the reaction on his daughter’s face his priceless.  Another great heartwarming moment.
