Mets commit three errors in one play, Bob Costas rips New York for celebration

The most Mets play ever? Even though the Mets would end up beating the Cubs in walk-off fashion, these three throwing innings during the 5th inning were a bit ugly.

The play wasn’t the only embarrassing moment for the Mets on the day. Giving an update during the U.S. Open, Bob Costas slammed the Mets celebration, saying it was an “indication of the on-going decline of Western Civilization.” So unnecessary, Costas.
