Bryce Harper shows up to airport wearing huge knee brace

Panic in the Nation’s Capital. Washington Nationals star outfielder, Bryce Harper, who was injured nearly a month ago after running into the Dodgers outfield wall, was seen wearing a rather large brace at the Atlanta Airport.

Apparently Harper doesn’t need surgery but is wearing the brace only for precautionary reasons after seeing Dr. James Andrews on Monday, according to Adam Kilgore of the WaPo. Time will tell whether the team with the best record in MLB last season can recover with both Harper and Stephen Strasburg on the DL, and several of last season’s key pieces struggling at the plate.
