Youth Hockey Player assaults opponent by swinging stick like baseball bat

During the Nike Bauer Hockey Tournament, the San Diego Jr Gulls were taking on the Toledo Cherokees in the 1999 birth year, AAA Division.  The Gulls are wearing the orange jerseys and the Cherokees player that swings his stick like a bat clearly took exception to a hit his opponent gave out.  After hitting the Gulls player in the neck with his stick, he jumped on top of the player and started to throw punches.

According to the video uploader, the player only suffered a bruised neck because he was wearing a neck guard.  There is no place for this kind of stuff in the game of hockey and this kid should be suspended for a long period of time.  He clearly went to the Marty McSorley school of hockey.
