Minor hockey league player scores incredible spin-o-rama shootout goal

Colton Yellow Horn plays for the Ontario Reign in the ECHL, and he probably just had the shootout goal of the year.  And with the NHL lockout still going strong, hockey fans are thankful for him.

The spin-o-rama has gotten pretty basic in the NHL shootouts, but adding the twist of pulling the puck between his legs beforehand is simply outstanding.  The goal ended up being the winning goal in the shootout, and gave the Reign a victory over the San Francisco Bulls.

What did the Bulls goalie, Thomas Heemskerk, have to say about the goal you ask?

He told SFbay.ca this, “The ESPN highlight reel. I just remember [Yellow Horn] kind of pushed it blocker side and next thing I knew, I was behind the play and he was going the other way. I couldn’t catch up.”
