Rory McIlroy Wins The Open Championship, Gets Booed For Being Manchester United Fan

Rory McIlroy had just finished winning The Open Championship in wire-to-wire fashion when he gave a speech after receiving the Claret Jug and he made a big time mistake. Rory admitted to being a Manchester United fan at Royal Liverpool golf course and the fans were not pleased. Definitely the first time a golfer has been booed after winning a tournament.
