It’s hard to believe that a professional golfer as talented as Rory McIlroy had never hit a hole-in-one during a pro tournament before. Playing on the European Tour at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, Rory stepped up to the Par 3 15th hole with a nine iron and absolutely drained his tee shot. McIlroy didn’t get anything special for the hole-in-one, just a high-five from Rickie Fowler and a solid sense of accomplishment.
