Phil Mickelson and European Tour Golfers attempt Happy Gilmore Drive

Phil Mickelson, Nicolas Colsaerts, Paul Lawrie and some other European Tour Golfers attempted the famous Happy Gilmore drive in this latest European Tour feature at the 2013 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open Pro-Am.  As you can see a few of them have mastered it, and Phil was not one of them.  Phil’s shot ended up hitting the camera man, but in his defense, he attempted it with a right handed club.  The big winner was Padraig Harrington who blasted a tee shot a reported 328 yards.  Harrington has a big advantage though, because he was the golfer that attempted the Happy Gilmore shot for Sports Science a few years ago.
