Wisconsin Loses Senior Captain To Broken Foot

Vince Biegel, a senior leader and captain for Wisconsin, will miss the next 2-4 weeks due to a broken foot, it was announced Thursday.

Biegel, a third-team all-Big Ten pick last season, leads the Badgers in tackles this year with 23. Leon Jacobs, who started the season at fullback, likely will be Biegel’s replacement at inside linebacker.

It was also announced today that place kicker Rafael Galianone will be out for the season.

Wisconsin travels to Ann Arbor Saturday to face Michigan in a top 10 matchup.
