Virginia Tech WR Dyrell Roberts finds a pair of scissors on the field

You can file this under something you don’t see every day.  Virginia Tech’s Dyrell Roberts was trying frantically to get the referees attention to try and get the play stopped so the scissors could be removed from the field of play before running their next play against North Carolina.

I wonder how long the scissors had been there, and how they got there, since they weren’t found until there were only three minutes left in the 1st quarter.  My guess is the fell out of a trainers pocket or something during a timeout; thankfully no one was hurt.
