Urban Meyer Once Had Michigan As His ‘Dream School’

Urban Meyer’s wife, Shelley, was on the Eleven Warriors podcast where she mentioned that Michigan and Notre Dame were at one time his dream school.  Asked about making coaching decisions together, Shelley said that if any of these three programs came calling, they would be heading to coach there:

“Ohio State, Notre Dame and The Team Up North. This is way, way, way back, when Urban dreamed about being a head coach. He thought Ohio State, Notre Dame and the Team Up North would be the epitome of coaching….We’ve been to two of them and we’re not going to the third. If that third one comes along (Michigan), I have a huge say and we’re not going there.”

Ohio State and Meyer head to Ann Arbor this year.
