Urban Meyer says that Florida, not Ohio State, is the best atmosphere in CFB:
“Steve Spurrier, when they built the Swamp in the 90s, it’s very hot,” Meyer said. “Gainesville is obviously right in the center of the state. Not a whole lot of air circulates in the center of the state of Florida, especially early in the season. It is so hot. Only Gators get out alive, is what Steve Spurrier said. The fans, the student body is incredible. The fans are out of their damn minds. When we had that thing going, a night game in the Swamp was second to none.”
