According to DC Don Brown, Michigan will have a healthy linebacker competition next year to replace senior Mike McCray. The two favorites to take over for the Trotwood, Ohio native, are Josh Ross and Devin Gil.
Brown noted that Ross, a freshman who has played on special teams this year, is ‘one of the more physical guys I’ve been around in terms of pound-for-pound striking people.’
Devin Bush Jr. and Khaleke Hudson will presumably be manning the other two linebacker jobs in 2018.
