Top Miami Pledge Clearly A Fan Of Michigan’s New LB Coach, Eyeing Several Visits

Originally picking Miami over Michigan, four-star LB Elijah Melendez isn’t shutting his recruitment down, however. Meledez told 247sports’ Brice Marich that he has a good relationship with new LB coach Brian Jean-Mary and plans to come up to Michigan potentially three times:

Melendez is ranked as On3’s No. 49 recruit and No. 9 LB in the 2025 class.
