Top In-State Recruit Says Why He Picked Kentucky Over Michigan

Marquan McCall, a four-star offensive guard out of Detroit, Michigan, recently pledged to Kentucky. If it weren’t for Michigan cutting down contact with the top in-state recruit, he likely would have been a Wolverine. McCall talked with Landof10’s Brandon Justice about the home-state school:

“Michigan, I don’t know,” McCall told Brandon Justice shaking his head. “That was a good school. I always had my head in them. [Michigan] was definitely my No. 1 school [before the communication cut off]. But as I went on trips to Kentucky, they kept showing me more and more love. Then I committed.”
