The Texas Tech Red Raiders unveiled their new helmets for next season, which included bringing back a white helmet into the rotation. The helmets now bring back a red stripe down the middle and are obviously far shinier than they were in the past. They haven’t worn the helmet on a regular basis since the 1970s, but they did wear them as an alternate five times during Tommy Tubberville’s tenure. With Kliff Kingsbury now at the helm, it appears that they want to start things off with a bang and get back to more of a traditional aspect.
