Tarik Black Posts Great Message After Announcing His Transfer

It was announced Friday that Michigan WR Tarik Black has added himself to the transfer portal. Black posted the following message to his Instagram:

After speaking with my family and a lot of praying, I’ve decided to focus on completing my degree and pursue a graduate transfer for the 2020 season. I’ll have two years of eligibility remaining and excited to see what God has planned for the next chapter of my life.
I will forever consider myself a Michigan Man and will continue to cheer on my brothers!

I would like to thank the University of Michigan coaching staff, training staff, my teammates, administration and true fan base for embracing me during my time in Ann Arbor. I have built life long friendships and bonds that will follow me the rest of my life and I’m truly thankful for this experience! After speaking with my family and a lot of praying, I’ve decided to focus on completing my degree and pursue a graduate transfer for the 2020 season.
