Southern Miss unveils new football and basketball jerseys

The University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles unveiled their new football and basketball jerseys on Wednesday afternoon.  Southern Miss announced they were switching from Nike to Russell, presumably to get more personal attention as a school.  The jerseys actually look pretty good and Russell Athletic did a good job with the striping.  The stripes in the numbers is a cool feature and the only thing I’m not a fan of is the striping scheme on the helmet.  The basketball jerseys are pretty boring, but well-designed.  Overall, I’d say it was a solid switch by the Golden Eagles.
