Sounds Like A Freshman Could Be A Big Contributor To Michigan’s DL Next Year

While seeing the field sparingly his true freshman year, Dominic Nichols, a DE and former four-star recruit, might be seeing lots more action this upcoming year. Lou Esposito shared that Nichols is stepping up so far this spring:

Nichols, standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 261 pounds, he hails from Ijamsville, Maryland, where he attended Oakdale High School. Nichols was a notable recruit in the 2024 class, earning a four-star rating and ranking as the No. 37 edge rusher nationally and the No. 16 player in Maryland.

It is believed that Nichols received a redshirt last season.
