Rumblings No. 1 Recruit Bryce Underwood Still Talking With Other Schools, Considering Visits

While committing to LSU back in January, Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 player in the 2025 class and a Michigan native, could still be looking at some other programs. Talking with 247sports’ Tom Loy in Vegas where a bunch of recruits were invited to represent their state, Loy says he thinks ($) there are still some programs involved with Underwood:

However, just to be transparent, I got the vibe that he’s still communicating with other schools, rightfully so, and potential visits are at least being considered behind closed doors. He’s a tremendous prospect, so schools not giving up shouldn’t come as any surprise. Just something to monitor moving forward.

Michigan was believed to be the runner-up for the services of Underwood. Alabama, Colorado and other programs were finalists.

Michigan does have the commitment from four-star QB Carter Smith, who is ranked as the No. 9 QB in the class.
