Report: Tyrone Wheatley No Longer In Running For WMU Job

[AdSense-A]

While De’Veon Smith believes that Tyrone Wheatley would do great as Western Michigan’s head coach, it looks like the Wolverines’ RB coach won’t be leaving Ann Arbor.  According to the Detroit News’ Tony Paul, Wheatley no longer looks to be in the running for the Broncos job.

Wheatley was reportedly out visiting top WR target Nico Collins on Thursday.

Lynn Henning of the Detroit News notes that Michigan OC Tim Drevno is interested in the opening after PJ Fleck bolted for Minnesota.
