Every time Ohio State beat Michigan over the last 80-years, players for the Buckeyes are gifted a ‘gold pants’ trinket. Following OSU’s 42-28 in Columbus last season, the Buckeyes third-consecutive win over the Wolverines, things were no different.
Michael Thomas, the nephew of NFLer Keyshawn Johnson, shared a photo of the gold pants to his Twitter account. Also included was the caption, “somewhere in my Letter of Intent it said ‘and you will win a pair of Gold Pants every season you play at OSU.’”
A redshirt junior, Thomas and Ohio State will travel to Ann Arbor on Nov. 28th.
