It was announced Wednesday that Notre Dame QB Evertt Golson will officially be moving on. Golson, who had previously been suspended for one-season due to ‘poor academic judgement’, led the Irish to a National Championship game his freshman season. No official reason for Golson’s departure has been give yet.
Some potential landing spots for Golson: Texas, Alabama, LSU and Florida State. A two-year starter for the Irish, Golson will be eligible immediately. Notre Dame’s QB position will be manned by Malik Zaire next year.
Update: According to 247Sports, Golson is strongly considering Georgia and South Carolina.
