Northern Illinois To Wear Corn-Themed Jerseys For Charity

Normally wearing a special jersey and auctioning it off for charity is a gimmick reserved for minor league teams, but the Northern Illinois Huskies are going to be doing just that for their opener against Presbyterian. The proceeds from the corn-themed jerseys celebrating their agricultural roots will be sent to three different charities.
