New Staff Member Officially Announces For Michigan Football

It was announced this weekend that Ben Herbert, Arkansas’ former Strength and Conditioning coach, will be taking that same role at Michigan:

Hebert, who spent 11 seasons with the strength and conditioning program at Wisconsin, joined Bret Bielema at Arkansas and spent four seasons as head S&C coach. He was not retained after the coaching transition once Bielema was let go.

During his time at Wisconsin, Herbert helped train 41 NFL draft picks, including the likes of J.J. Watt and Montee Ball.

Herbert was a four-year letterman on the defensive line for the Badgers and won two Rose Bowls. [via 247sports]
