UCLA Blocks Chris Clarks From Transferring To Michigan, Michigan State?

Update: According to Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com, UCLA has blocked Clark from Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State.

Chris Clark, the No. 1 TE in the 2015 class, officially was released from his UCLA scholarship on Tuesday.  While it’s still unclear which school the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder is leaning towards transferring to, two Big Ten schools are reportedly being blocked by Jim More and UCLA.

According to the UCLA rivals board and confirmed by Brandon Brown of TheWolverine, UCLA has denied Clark from transferring to Michigan and Michigan State.

Clark, who at one-time was a Michigan commit, was considering both the Spartans and Wolverines before settling on the Bruins on National Signing Day.

Neither Michigan and Michigan State play UCLA in the near future so the reported block is somewhat bizarre.

The Avon, Connecticut native says that he would like to make a decision in the next couple of weeks so that he would only have to sit out a couple games next year, according to 247sports. However, he does have visits lined up to Pitt, Virginia and NC State in October.
