Top Michigan Recruit Denies Report D.J. Durkin Took Maryland Job

After a report fromĀ Mark Blaudschun said that Michigan defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin accepted the Maryland head coaching position, Dontavious Jackson, a four-star linebacker recruit, shut down that rumor while on his visit.

Outside of the Ohio State and Indiana games, the Wolverines defense, which ranks No. 4 nationally, has looked good under Durkin. It would be big if Michigan ends up keeping the 37-year-old coordinator.
