Report: Michigan RB Commit Matt Falcon Tears ACL

Reports are surfacing that Michigan RB commit Matt Falcon suffered another injury setback during last week’s Southfield game.

According to Rivals’ Brandon Brown, it’s an ACL tear in the same knee Falcon previously suffered as a sophomore.

“He was blocking so his knee was forward and his foot was planted in the ground,” Southfield coach Tim Conley explained to the Detroit Free Press. “The back leg got rolled up on and his ankle got rolled. He had all his weight on his right leg and when that happened he must have twisted his knee. I was thinking he had a high ankle sprain.”
