Report: Devin Bush Sr. Headed To Michigan

According to sources of David Furones of the Miami Herald, Flanagan High School football coach Devin Bush Sr. will be joining his son, early enrollee LB Devin Bush Jr., at Michigan next year.

Sources to Furones’ say that an announcement could come next week. Flanagan’s defensive coordinator, Stanford Samuels, whose son Stanford Samuels III, a top Wolverines CB target next year, would then likely become the next coach.

Bush Sr. led Flanagan to an 8A State Championship last season, and is sending three of his players to Michigan (Bush Jr., Josh Metellus and Devin Gil).

A former standout linebacker for Florida State, Bush Sr. was a first round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in 1995.

There were earlier signs that Bush may be heading to Michigan.
