Michigan’s Deal With Nike Is The Biggest Apparel Contract In America

Michigan interim AD Jim Hackett spoke with media Tuesday following news that Michigan was going back to Nike as its next apparel provider. According to Hackett, the new Nike-Michigan deal is the biggest contract in the country, and Jim Harbaugh wanted Nike all along.

Notre Dame, which previously had the highest deal, signed for 10-years, $90M with Under Armour in 2014. Michigan signed for 8-years and $60M with Adidas back in 2008.

Full details on Michigan’s deal with Nike will be released on July, 13th.
