Michigan WR Moe Ways Breaks Bone, Out Several Months

Jim Harbaugh said following Michigan’s spring practice at Ford Field that redshirt sophomore WR Moe Ways will need surgery after suffering a foot injury.

“Mo caught a touchdown pass and a freak thing happened, he fell on his foot, looks like he’s going to need a surgery for the fifth metacarpal on his foot,” Harbaugh said. “He’ll probably be out three or four months.”

Ways was expected to compete with Grant Perry for the Wolverines’ No. 3 wide receiver position. The Detroit Country Day product caught three-passes for 40-yards last season.
