Michigan Can’t Flip OSU Commit & Four-Star RB Mike Weber

After much back-and-forth, it’s finally known where four-star Cass Tech High School running-back Mike Weber will play college ball: Ohio State. After swaying between rivals Ohio State and Michigan over the past week (and reportedly today as well), the four-star has announced he’ll sign with the Buckeyes.

Weber, who grew up a Michigan fan, had committed to Brady Hoke and Michigan at one point. After the UofM’s poor 2014 season which led to Hoke’s firing, Weber eventually decommitted and then signed with Ohio State.

Weber is 247Sports 9th best RB for the 2015 class. A High School All American, Weber is 5-feet-9 and 219 pounds. The addition of Karan Higdon to Michigan’s class earlier today likely swayed Weber to pick OSU.
