With spring practice moving along, many people are wondering who will put themselves in the lead for the starting job this fall. If you thought that Shane Morris would get the job by default, you would be wrong. I also wouldn’t expect a decision to be made anytime soon.
Mlive.com has more:
“I think the thing’s wide open,” Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno said last week. “Jim and Jedd (Fisch) are really handling that, and (it depends on) how they’re feeling throughout the practice.”
Earlier in camp, Harbaugh insisted that reps would stay relatively even during the early stages of spring. The three scholarship quarterbacks, junior Shane Morris, redshirt freshman Wilton Speight and true freshman Alex Malzone, will likely see more reps than the walk-ons — but at the same time, no one’s consistently pulling away just yet.

Read the entire Drevno interview over at MLive. Looks like it is going to be an interesting spring in Ann Arbor.
