Mason Cole Taking Snaps At Center For Michigan

Mason Cole started at left tackle for Michigan as a true freshman. The Florida native could be making the move to center this upcoming year, as Sam Webb is reporting that Cole took snaps at practice.

Patrick Kugler and Blake Bars were expected to take over the center role with Jack Miller leaving the team and also Graham Glasgow out after being suspended.

The coaching staff is likely trying to fit the five best line-men on the field and moving Cole to center would make that happen.  Erik Magnuson would likely then slide to left tackle, Logan Tuley-Tillman at right tackle and with Kyle Kalis and Ben Braden at the guard positions.
