Is Michigan Headed Back To Nike?

It looks at though Michigan is on track to head back to the Swoosh when their current deal with adidas is up. In article posted by Sam Webb on Scout ($), he indicates that talks between Michigan and Nike are going quite well. Initially Nike and adidas were $4 million per year a part, but it appears that Nike has closed that gap or has indicated that they are willing too.

It’s well-known that Michigan fans, coaches and players all want to go back to Nike, so this is really a no-brainer for Jim Hackett and Co. A decision will likely come in early July with an announcement of Michigan and Nike reuniting following shortly after.
