Here’s The Updated Way For Michigan To Make The Big Ten Championship Game

Here’s what would need to happen for the Wolverines, not the Spartans, to make the Championship Game in Jim Harbaugh’s first-year with the Wolverines:

• Michigan must beat Ohio State
• Penn State must beat Michigan State

If both Michigan and MSU win next weekend, they would share the Big Ten East division title. However, due to a head-to-head tie-breaker, Sparty would go to the Championship Game. Ohio State, if they beat Michigan and the Spartans lose, would then be the Big Ten East division representative.

Iowa will be the opponent for the December 5th Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
