ESPN’s Bowl Predictions Have Michigan In Citrus Against Florida

We indicated this past weekend that a Citrus Bowl representative would ‘strongly consider’ an LSU vs. Michigan matchup.  However, a matchup with Florida, who will play in the SEC Championship Game this weekend against Alabama, appears to be the more likely scenario.

Sources to Rivals’ Chris Balas ($) say that Michigan has a 99% chance of landing in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.  Likewise, Balas has also been hearing that the opponent will likely be Florida, who Michigan will matchup the first weekend of the 2017 season for the Cowboys Class at AT&T Stadium.

Both ESPN’s Mark Schlabach and Brett McMurphy have Michigan slotted in the Citrus Bowl on January 1st in Orlando, Florida.
