Diehard Scoop: UM Commit Antwuan Johnson To Recruit Ohio’s Best In 2018

Four-star LB Antwuan Johnson verbally committed to the Wolverines on Monday evening. The Springfield, Ohio native, who is Michigan’s first 2018 commit, told us he plans to put on his recruiting hat for the Maize and Blue.

Johnson told Diehard Sport that he will recruit the other top 2018 recruits out of the Buckeye state to join him in Ann Arbor – RB Jalen Gill (No. 18 overall to 247sports), DT Leonard Taylor (No. 20 and Johnson’s high school teammate), OT Jackson Carmen (No. 34) and Ath L’Christian Smith (No.116).

Michigan is certainly trying to leave its mark in Ohio for its #Team139 recruiting class, and Johnson is a big start.
