BYU Coach Bronco Mendenhall Hired At Virginia, Good Sign For Taysom Hill To Michigan?

It was announced Friday evening that BYU’s Bronco Mendenhall will be named the next head coach at Virginia.

Mendenhall’s departure could be good news for Michigan landing BYU grad-transfer QB Taysom Hill.  Hill, who sat out last season after suffering an injury, was once a commit to Jim Harbaugh while he was at Stanford. Hill would likely compete with John O’Korn, Wilton Speight and true freshman Brandon Peters at the QB spot next year for the Wolverines, if he decides to transfer.
