Michigan unveils special jersey and helmet for Outback Bowl

After Michigan Wolverines Athletic Director Dave Brandon said that special Bowl Game jersey’s were a possibility when they unveiled the Cowboy Classic uniforms, the Michigan Football Twitter account unveiled these new uniforms today.

Messing with the helmet is a strict no-go.  Bringing in the matte helmet style looks absolutely terrible with the wings.  Honestly, it looks like this jersey concept was thrown together this morning, even though Denard says that they saw concepts of this during the year.

I’m sure when Michigan plays Notre Dame at night next year, they will have another special uniform to unveil.  Hopefully they never bring the matte-helmet look back ever again.
