Michigan Signees Get Shoutouts As Top Performers At All-American Game

247sports talked about the top performers at the Under Amour All-American game and during the week. Five-star signee Will Johnson and four-star Derrick Moore made the cut:

William Johnson CB – Grosse Pointe (MI) South, Michigan signee – Understanding alignment, splits, formation and route distribution is what you saw from Johnson this week. He was rarely out of position and always around the ball making plays throughout the week. He showed the speed to stay with guys stride for stride along with being able to jump routes for pass break ups. The size checks out and as he continues to fill-out it’s only going to add to the type of talented player that he will become.

Derrick Moore capped a good week with a nice two-sack performance to win the games MVP. It’s encouraging for Michigan that he played both on the edge and the interior this week and has room to add more weight to his frame.
