Michigan QB Devin Gardner’s scrambling 45-yard TD pass

Coming out of high school Devin Gardner was a highly-touted five-star and was regarded as one of the best quarterback recruits in the country.  He has played at quarterback sparingly, and was moved to wide receiver this year to give Michigan more depth.  Today, Denard Robinson was out with a nagging elbow injury and Gardner looked like the magnificent prospect he once was.

Here he shows his athleticism, avoiding the rush and chucking a perfect pass to wide receiver Drew Dileo.  Glad to see that playing wide receiver didn’t ruin his throwing motion.
