While Michigan already landed the top player in the country, Belleville, Michigan QB Bryce Underwood, a former LSU commit, the Maize and Blue are now targetting several other Tiger commits. While Derek Meadows, a four-star top 100 WR has long been known, there is another recruit that Michigan is pursuing – four-star DE Damien Shanklin. Originally picking LSU over Michigan, OSU and others, Shanklin, a Indy native and top 150 recruit, is being pursued Rivals reports:
