Michigan Lands Surprise Commitment From Northeast Tight End

Luke Schoonmaker, a three-star tight end out of Connecticut, announced his commitment to Michigan on Tuesday:

According to his profile, Schoonmaker also holds offers from Indiana, Rutgers, Temple, UConn, ECU, UMass, Miami of Ohio, and Toledo.

Schoonmaker, who is listed at 6-foot-6 and 225-pounds, is ranked as 247sports’ No. 32 TE in 2018. Watch highlights of the Hamden Hall product who plays TE and QB for his high school:
